Avi Weisfogel: A New Jersey Based Dentist And Sleep Doctor

Dr. Avi Weisfogel loves smiles and loves to help make people feel better about themselves by giving them a smile to be proud of. He’s been in the dental profession for over 15 years and has won high honors and accolades from the Old Bridge, NJ community where he lives and practices his dentistry. Weisfogel is caring and listens to his patients’ questions and concerns, and makes sure they feel comfortable and at ease while visiting him. He also is the CEO of Dental Sleep Masters, a research and treatment group that finds solutions for patients with sleeping disorders.

Dr.Avi Weisfogel was raised in the greater New Brunswick area, and is the son of a radiologist. He received a bachelor’s in both biology and psychology at Rutgers University, and then completed his dental training and received his DDS at New York University College of Dentistry. He first started at a small office in downtown Edison, but then moved to Old Bridge where he opened up his most well-known office, Old Bridge Dental Care. He was very successful during his time practicing here, cited twice as Best Dentist in this area.

Dr. Weisfogel took a keen interest not only in the health of his patients’ teeth, but in their overall health and how well they were sleeping. He started doing research on sleep apnea, it’s causes and how it can be remedied. He also started Dental Sleep Masters, a solution for dentists all around the country to learn how to treat patients struggling with sleeping problems. Some factors Weisfogel has found contributing to disorders are unhealthy eating patterns, weight issues, large necks and airway constrictions. Weisfogel has prescribed various breathing and mouth supporting devices to help air flow freely and prevent sleep apnea.

Avi Weisfogel is also a philanthropist who has given back to many charity events in his community, and he also launched a GoFundMe page for Operation Smile. This is an effort led by an international healthcare coalition to raise funds to treat young children with lip clefts and other birth defects. Weisfogel also loves music and every once in a while he’ll compose tunes that he posts to Soundcloud.
